Symposium on Thyroid Eye Disease

A comprehensive symposium on Thyroid Eye Disease took place at Peshawar General Hospital, under the umbrella of POA , on 10/ 95/2025. Dr Junaid Sethi , a senior consultant ophthalmologist was the focal person and it brought together esteemed orbital specialists from leading institutions.

The event embraced an interdisciplinary approach, with valuable contributions from Dr. Ibrar, Consultant Endocrinologist, highlighting the importance of joint management in complex cases.

Experts delivered in-depth presentations, shared diagnostic and therapeutic techniques, and discussed their own case experiences, fostering a highly collaborative academic atmosphere.

Patients presenting similar conditions were reviewed collectively to formulate expert-driven treatment plans.

Dr. Junaid Sethi’s initiative was highly commended by fellow physicians for advancing integrated clinical dialogue. In line with this progressive approach, a dedicated clinic is also planned to be established in Peshawar where ophthalmology and endocrinology experts will work in close coordination to ensure more effective and holistic treatment for patients suffering from Thyroid Eye Disease.
